It seems to me that a rare photographer likes cloudy weather – everything becomes flat, low-contrast and gray. I prefer sunny weather too, but there's still something vibe to overcast.
When the light is diffused outside, you need to focus on the color, which I did during another walk.
I generally like the color red in the frame, although my favorite is blue.
The presence of a red dot always enlivens the frame and attracts attention.
Red is perceived as the brightest signal color.
It's not for nothing that everything dangerous, forbidding and appealing for attention is done in red tones.
That's how red works in the frame – I won't say that it always attracts, but it definitely makes you pay attention.
But you don't need to focus on red when there are many other bright colors in the surrounding reality besides gray and ochre.
Therefore, if it is cloudy, then it remains to remove the color....as strange as it may sound.
Recently (for many years now) I don't take black and white pictures.
And maybe someday I'll take a special pictures in bw and write my opinion about it.
