Elakino is the next village of the Nikolsky tract, which is literally a hundred meters from the asphalt road. How many times have I passed by, but so far my foot has not set foot on the street of this settlement.
There are no permanent residents, as the local resident said. Basically, everyone comes summer residents.
The woman also said that once there was a large hospital and a boarding school.
There are about fifteen houses in Elakino, which stand on both sides of the same street.
There are many abandoned houses, among which masterpieces of wooden architecture are visible.
It must have been great to drive along the highway and admire the beautiful houses ... village after village.
As usual, when you look, passing by on the highway to the village, it seems that there is nothing remarkable in it.
And when you come in and take a walk, and then soak up the atmosphere, the impressions change dramatically!
Elakino, like Yakutino, stands on a hill near cultivated fields.
Even throughout the entire tract, the Shardenga River winds around in the vicinity. Therefore, further the villages will belong to the Upper Shardengsky rural settlement, which was previously divided into the Lower Shardengsky.
The last house is not exactly near the forest, but almost in the forest itself!
If there are no permanent residents here, and less than half are temporary, then this village will soon become abandoned. Although of the entire tract it is one of the closest to a good road and not too far from civilization.
But there can be many factors that do not depend on physical characteristics.
It's just that the housing stock itself can be very worn out and not maintained in a timely manner to an acceptable condition.
Or maybe there was simply no one to live here, and no new residents showed up.
...The woman who briefly told me about the village warned me that I would not drive along the highway to the next village because of the stream.
I decided to go on anyway.
The stream was filled with sawdust and laid with boards, so I was able to overcome it, although I had to turn on all off-road helpers just in case (lowering, blocking, increasing the clearance of the air suspension).
To be continued...
