I shot this village more than once, but this time I only captured here the part that belongs to the Nikolsky tract, that is, the central street.
Let me remind you that Peganovo is the former center of a rural settlement, where more than a hundred people live.
This settlement constantly appears in the news about incidents: sometimes several houses burn down in a short period of time, then wolves roam freely around the village.
But every time I am in this place, I feel quite comfortable.
Here stands a large stone church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
There used to be a school and a kindergarten. Only the first-aid post and the house of culture remained.
Peganovo stands on the height differences, which is very attractive in terms of landscape photography.
Further, the tract will go for a couple of tens of kilometers on the left side of the Ustyug-Nikolsk highway, like the Shardenga River.
The next village stands on the opposite bank of the river, through which the bridge was supposed to pass ... but it has been destroyed for many years.
This is the second place on the highway where I had to make a detour in order to return to it again.
Although I still tried my hopes and looked for at least a car ford, but the water level in the river is very high after the autumn rains.
Shardenga is a forest river that almost never becomes shallow to low-level states.
To be continued...
