Zolotukha river in winter

It looks like an ordinary river within the city, but if you visit it live, you can be disappointed. The Zolotukha River, which flows through the center of Vologda, is obscene. The water is polluted, cloudy, and household waste is often found at the bottom.

But for some reason unknown to me, I love being by this river.

I feel very comfortable when I walk along the banks of the Zolotukha River.

I feel comfortable here and do not pay attention to the muddy and fetid water.

The air temperature can be determined by the state of this river.

In frosts, the surface of the water is covered with ice almost everywhere, and during a thaw, the ice melts.

Near this small river, I filmed a large number of scenes.

I really love such natural oases in an urban environment.

But it is very sad when such natural corners are in a state of disrepair...

Although if I choose improvement or leave it in its natural form, then I am for naturalness.

It's cool when there are many rivers and streams in the city!
