A Graphite Piece; The Oldie

I previously have seen this character or person before, the person I drew I mean. But I can’t seem to place it. The original reference I used was a caricature art and a digital one at that. The expression in that piece though was legit accurate. I coveted this at heart and decided to make my own piece.

The art work was well detailed and as such I took my time in arranging it. I must admit though that I changed certain things to suit my taste like some wrinkles on the face and neck and also the design on his shirt amidst other things. While capturing the process that led to this art piece I changed location a number of times and as a result the sunlight reflected on the paper at different angles. This in turn made it impossible to have the same result while editing hence the different colorization.

To slip in a little variation I made sure to put the image to my left instead the center or near center as usual.
