For sometime I have been meaning to do a sketch on Harley Quinn. I confess that most times the inspirations I drive drive me to make her into the Twisted Jester. This time however, I felt the need to try out my technique (the hatching) in the typical negative form but with colors. Honestly I didn’t think it would turn out well but applying one step after another yielded great result for which I am very glad.
After taking this step though, my mind went back some three years ago when I tried this same color routine on portraits but with the scribble technique. I honestly totally forgot about that phase of my build up till this very moment. As a result, I think I might share those work again as a gallery or do something similar to see how well I have improved.
