I shot these of Model Sophie in a private garden in Holland Park we wanted to keep everything white, and all the styling was completely white, along with most of the background flowers. It is the odd pop of lavender. A technique I love to do when shooting is to create a blur in front of the Model, so it gives it more of a three-dimensional dreamlike appearance. I do this by holding a petal, flower, leaf, grass or even a branch really close to the lens so that I create a subtle blur you have to play around because sometimes you end up with way too much of the object that it obscure see which of the photo but if you play around you can get some really beautiful images this way. I’ve also done this with crystals and Glass.
