Now that we're down to the last 8, every match is a mouth watering prospect. The 1st leg ties didn't disappoint and on Tuesday night, an expectedly cagey affair in Manchester saw City narrowly beat Atletico Madrid 1-0. The Spaniards won't fear the Citizens in the 2nd leg and with Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone coming head-to-head once again, a tactical masterclass is inevitable.

Liverpool got the win that was expected in Benfica but having looked comfortable in the 1st half going in with a 2-0 lead, Benfica came back at them and could be considered unlucky not to come out of the match with at least a draw. Much captained Mo Salah had a particularly disappointing game and owners of him in UCL and FPL will be concerned by an apparent lack of form.

Perhaps the surprise result was Villareal... exposing Bayern's weakness in defence and although they'd have taken a 1-0 win before the match, they'll have come away feeling that they should be ahead by more - Arnaut Danjuma in particular wasting a glorious opportunity to make it 2-0.

Finally, a Karim Benzema hat-trick helped Real Madrid to a comfortable 3-1 win in West London and although the tie is far from over, many will be wondering how the blues can turn things around at the Bernabeu.

Despite being the only player in the top 4 not to own Karim Benzema and the disappointment of popular captains Mo Salah and Robert Lewandowski and Geronimo Rulli sat on the bench with his clean sheet, so many other players stepped up and returned goals and assists that this didn't prove decisive.

@titopx and @arahman move up to 5th and 6th respectively, pushing the only other player in the top half who didn't own Karim Benzema (@petface) down into 7th.

With a quick turn around and the 2nd legs being played next week, there's everything to play for both on the pitch and for us off it.
