Yedigöller National Park: A Peaceful Day Amongst the Colours of Autumn

I set my route to Yedigöller National Park in Bolu to witness the enchanting colours of autumn and take a peaceful walk among the beauties of nature. Instead of spending the weekend at home, I chose to get lost in the arms of nature and I am so glad I did.

Yedigöller National Park, as its name suggests, is a natural wonder consisting of seven different lakes. Each of the lakes has its own beauty and visiting all of them is like seeing different faces of nature. In the park I visited in the spring months, the trees are covered in a thousand shades of yellow, red and green. The fallen leaves form paintings of nature as they float on the surface of the lakes. With every step, I felt like I was immersed in a landscape created by the brush of a painter.

During my walk, I had the opportunity to explore each of the seven lakes separately: Büyük Göl, Küçük Göl, Derin Göl, Nazlı Göl, İnce Göl, Sazlı Göl and Serin Göl. Each lake offers a different atmosphere with its surrounding vegetation and landscape. During my walk around Büyük Lake, I did not realize how time passed when I saw the magnificent view formed by the reflections of the leaves falling on the water. Nazlı Lake, on the other hand, had a mystical atmosphere with the fog spreading over the surface of the water.

Taking a long walk in nature, filling my lungs with the fresh air and resting with the sounds of birds offered an indescribable peace. As I wandered among the trees, a different beauty welcomed me with every turn of the road. While photographing the landscapes I saw during the walk, I wanted to immortalize every moment nature offered. The coffee I drank while taking a breather by the lake and enjoying this magnificent view was a detail that completed this beautiful day I spent in Yedigöller.

Although Yedigöller offers a different beauty in every season, this unique riot of colors in autumn is an unmissable experience for nature lovers. If you want to get away from the noise of the city and find peace in the arms of nature, you should definitely set aside a weekend to discover the beauties of Yedigöller. There is no better place to go for a walk and enjoy nature than Yedigöller.
