Redesign of Zoro from One Piece - My own style - Original artwork.

After those couple of manga drawing I did trying to draw like one of the most talented mangakas, I wanted to make design of zoro in my style, everyone that knows me, knows that I love anime and manga and that my forst drawings were from the anime Dragon ball when I was really young, maybe 6 o 7 years old, so, drawing with ink is always enjoyable for me, Zoro is my second most favorite character in One Piece so I wanted him to be the first redesign I made because of his badass look, everything in this drawing is from my imagination, from the pose to the shades so I hope you like it as much as I do.

First pencil draft, deciding on the pose was the most dificult part of the drawing, not watching any reference makes it a lot difficult to do and I have to regard on my memory of his look and giving him the correct proportion and perspective.

Now that I have the ouline with the mechanical pencil I started to draw the details in the skin, the scars, the shadows ans lights.

Here you can see that I started drawing with the ink.

All the outline drawn without any more details than needed befor start drawing his skin and give him that badaas look.

This is the fully drawn Roronoa Zoro I did for today´s post, I drew him as he was in the middle of a fightm his hands are black because of armament haki (any fan know what is that) and his sword being imbued with that power. I´m really happy with the result.
