Still with me @ Grisaia-Steem, this time I will introduce insects to you. More precisely, it is a type of insect larvae. Like butterflies, other insects also perform metamorphosis, you know. What is mertamophosis?
Metamorphosis is a process of biological development in animals that involves changes in physical appearance and / or structure after birth or hatching. These physical changes occur as a result of cell growth and cell differentiation which is radically different.
If the butterfly is going to pupate before it becomes a butterfly, then other insects almost do the same thing. One example is like the larva in my photo. The larvae will become pupae in time. Their stomachs will turn bigger and more yellow, and young insects will emerge from within them. Unique isn't it?
