Hello Everyone!
Summer vacations have always been one of my favorite times of the year, filled with cherished moments and quality family time. It's a special season when my married sisters come home, and we all come together to create lasting memories. One of our beloved family rituals is going out on Sundays, not just for dinner, but for some sort of adventure. As I've mentioned, I am an adventurous person, but it's not just me; my whole family shares this love for exploration and trying new things. Whether it's discovering hidden gems in our city or embarking on thrilling escapades, we always find joy in our shared adventures.
This time, since it's extremely hot in Karachi, we decided to visit Winterland. With the scorching temperatures making outdoor activities unbearable, Winterland offered a perfect escape. It's an indoor center where they've created a chilly -10°C environment, allowing visitors to enjoy snow and a winter-like atmosphere right in the heart of Karachi. For the people of Karachi, who rarely experience such cold weather, this is quite exciting. If you're from Karachi, you'll understand just how refreshing and thrilling this unique experience can be.
So, after deciding to go, we all got ready and left for Winterland. Once we arrived, we first bought our tickets. Then, we stood in a queue where they provided us with puffer jackets before entering, as the temperature inside was a chilly -10°C.
As we entered, we were fascinated by the sight of everything covered in white. Even with our jackets, it was so cold inside. We were amazed by the different rides and places to explore. Excitedly, we took pictures and roam around, checking out everything. There were small caves with seats where we could sit and take more pictures.
After taking pictures, we went on a ride, and even our parents joined in. It was quite fun. Next, we tried the slides, which ended in a pool of balls. Sliding into the pool of balls was quite exciting and brought out the child in all of us.
After some time, my hands became so cold I could hardly feel them. After enjoying and exploring everything, we finally came out. It was such a unique experience, especially for me, as I've never seen snow in real life. I think it's a must-visit at least once for everyone. Places like these create memories that last a lifetime.
That's it for today's story. As someone who loves adventures and exploring new things, I look forward to sharing more experiences with you all. I hope you enjoyed this one, and I can't wait to share more exciting tales in the future!
Regards,
@hamnahghauri
This Winterland was inaugurated at the the time when I used to live in Karachi. It sure was talk of the town back then. Despite living so close to it, I never got to visit it. Before we could make a plan, covid disrupted our lives.
Although we did visit actual snowy regions a couple of times after covid but the grief of not visiting Winterland remains the same. 😀

It was a brilliant business idea to build something like that in Karachi where winter hardly ever comes.
