Hi all!
I would like to draw special attention to the fact that Moldova is a very small country. But it seems to me that this factor plays a big role in the fact that every piece of land is sown with some kind of crops. And if you look from the slice, you can see how the fields are divided.
Another interesting thing I noticed while we were driving was that very often the fields are separated by trees. That is, some trees are planted along the border. Apparently the boundaries won’t be erased that way.
One of the fields is already yellow and as I understand it, the wheat is ripening. True, there are not many such fields and usually you come across fields with grapes. Winemaking is a Moldovan tradition.
To be continued...
Peace and goodness to all!

Trees to protect against soil erosion, there used to be more of them, but they were cut down.

Yes you are right. I asked and they told me the same thing. And they also said that the trees near the road were also planted so that there was a minimum of soil erosion.
