HE'S A GORILLA OR CHIMPANZEE?

I trust everyone is keeping well in this festive holiday and that Christmas is over, we are eagerly waiting for the new year 2025. Today I bring you the photography moments of these lovely primates.
I believe some people may find it tricky identifying the difference between a chimpanzee and a gorilla. However if you can closely check both photo faces and ears, you can easily tell they are different somehow even though they both lie in the same class of primates.
Thile first photo is of an alpha male that heads the family in Kibale national park of Uganda. This park is well famous here having the highest chimpanzee population in the country.This has attracted many tourists to come and witness these creatures. The behaviors are almost the same as humans since we share a closer DNA than we do with gorillas.

The second photo is of famous female gorilla of Nyakagezi gorilla group in Mgahinga national park. This park has only one habituated family with nine members being led by a Mark; silverback and a dominant male. Besides the park having gorillas, it has the unique golden monkeys that are also part of the attractions there. I took these photos some few months ago and every time I see them I remember how playful all these primates were. Gorilla trekking as an activity is only in two national parks in Uganda; Bwindi and Mgahinga. Gorillas in Mgahinga are more in mountains and because the vegetation isn't to thick, it's perfect for photographers struggling with natural light to capture nice moments.
