Good afternoon from Uganda!
This is my introduction again for the new followers I have got previously. Also for those who last heard about me sometime back or through my great friend @elkezaksek that I proudly call a parent.
My name is Hillary Byamugisha, born and raised from the remote community around lake Bunyonyi in the southwestern part of Uganda. Through my life struggles from an extremely poor family of nine members, I evolved a unique skill of photography and love for nature. My education was not so stable as most of the other families here but meeting some special people who even don't know me and offer some kind words and some help made me take a different step in the family. Through this, I have learnt keeping humble, honest and kind is the best thing in life than any other possession.
Through all these hustles, I have been able to pursue some of my life dreams of being a wildlife photographer.
I now do local tours in lake Bunyonyi and birding with bird enthusiasts.
Local tours also involve cycling, cultural experiences, boat trips and nature walks. While I keep my photography skills highly loved, it has enabled me to be famous on most of the platforms like Africa Geographic and also has motivated most of youth to love conservation.
As most of you may understand how difficult it is to be the only supporter of the whole family while planning at owning yours, most of my little earnings support my little sisters who are schooling and my mother.
Steemit platform has helped me so much to gather some steem through your votes to help me push my sisters to at least go to school! Again much thanks to @elkezaksek who introduced me to steemit.
I'm always very happy showing my photographs to you here that tell wildlife and cultural stories.
I am always thankful for your continued support to my journey. I will make some post about my sisters later and update you.
Meanwhile, enjoy these photos.

I don't believe I ever saw shoebill? What exactly is it doing? Calling or swelling something? I wonder if you put a layer or changed the colour of the photos.
I have no idea what famous means but I hope it helps or benefits you. I wish you a lot of fun with what you do. Sounds like the best job one can have.

They are special birds here and prefer large wetlands with mud fish and some reptiles. That's the real color of the scene. This shoebill was yawning after a heavy meal of successful catch. I missed that process but I was lucky to get this yawning behavior.
Shoebills yawn on two occasions, when they are tired and when they are satisfied after a heavy meal.
Being famous, means being known and recognized by a large number of audience/viewers. National Geographic is a reputable page so people get to follow you as well. Wildlife photography is a fun and beautiful to tell stories through shots🇺🇬
