The Diary Game 8-01-2025 | I deserved a day off

I'm sorry for boring you all with too much of my dental and hospital blogs but that's what I actually do 7 days a week these days. That and football on the weekends. Today is Wednesday and I was completely drained so I decided to take a day off and spend some time sleeping and spending it at home with peace

My day started quite late, around 12 PM, and began with watching Arya bask in the sun due to the cold in Karachi. It's getting colder and colder day by day here. One thing about living in this city is that winters last for a maximum of 45 days out of 365, so we have to endure hot weather for most of the year, except for January and the latter half of December. This weather obviously affects animals as well, and my cats try to sleep with us under our blankets during this time and spend the entire day basking in the sun.

Since I was at home, my mom obviously couldn’t let me stay in bed, so she gave me a long list of grocery items to buy from the market. Since I was already feeling a bit cold, I thought it would be a nice idea to go outside in the sun for a while and get the items. When I stepped outside, my two other babies were patiently waiting for me, expecting me to bring them their lunch. I’m sure they must have realized I hadn’t gone to work today, as they didn’t get to see me in the morning.

As I returned from the market with plastic bags in hand, these two jumped at me, eagerly expecting food. I called them to their designated lunch area and handed them their food. One of them, the black one whom I’ve named Hachi, is getting quite fat—a big, chonky boy. He doesn’t look like a stray at all!

Anyway, while my babies were having their food, I decided to take a couple of pictures of my own as it was after ages I had worn some baggy clothes and I felt like I was looking good haha.

I went upstairs to help my mom prepare lunch. Did you know I’m a really good chef? I’m sure none of you remember, but I once posted on Steemit a couple of years ago about the time I made prawns for my entire family and guests. Anyway, today I only cut vegetables to help my mom.

I hope I’m not boring you all with my diary. Today was a break from my usual routine. It was calm, free of work and chaos, and I thoroughly enjoyed being at home. It’s been ages since I’ve had the mood and energy to write a diary for myself. Ending this day with a cardio session at the gym.
