Hello guys, so today I decided to make a drawing of a beard man, this drawing was just a random sketch. I played around with tonal gradation putting in details on the face, the shading technique I used for this work is a blend of Blurring method, hatching method and cross hatching method, first of all started with hatching the shades then i proceeded into using cross hatching before Blurring the shades. This is basically how I come up with such shading technique.
I love beards so much and hope one day I will be able to nurture and grow my beards.
This work took me roughly 3 hours to produce, it is more complicated than you think.
Here is a sample of what Blurring, cross-hatching and hatching Method looks like
Materials Used
📌 Charcoal Pencil
📌 Mono Eraser
📌 A4 Paper
