Zawa Zulkhairi SAg Opened the 2024 Independent Curriculum (IKM) Development and Strengthening Training Event for Representatives of Madrasah Curriculum for MI, MTs and MA Levels throughout Lhokseumawe City in 2024 in the Lhokseumawe City Ministry of Religion PLHUT Hall.
Tarmizi said that the importance of this independent curriculum is for Madrasas so that madrasas are more advanced and developed, especially in the environment of the Ministry of Religion of Lhokseumawe City.
"The three advantages of the madrasa curriculum are that students can choose subjects they like, it is simpler and easier, more effective and relevant," he said.
Tarmizi also said that with the Covid-19 incident yesterday we can learn lessons for madrasahs that from this incident teachers and students already understand a little about what is called digitalization which can make it easier for students to learn more optimally in this era of the Independent Curriculum.
Kasi Pendis Zainal Abidin as chairman of the committee also said that this activity would be held in 2 days on 21-22 September 2024 and asked all participants to be serious about taking part in this activity and hoped that it could be understood and implemented in their respective Madrasahs.
Also present at the opening of this event were all Madrasa Supervisors and Madrasa Heads within the Ministry of Religion of Lhokseumawe City.
