That evening, I visited the Pusong Lama Village Reservoir, Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh Province. The reservoir water is so calm and beautiful when looking at it. This situation makes my heart feel shady.
Not only that, I saw two small boats used by traditional fishermen in Pusong Lama Village. These boats serve to catch fish in this peaceful reservoir.
Pusong Lama Reservoir has an important role in the lives of local people. However, currently there are efforts to control illegal buildings around the reservoir so that this area is cleaner and more orderly. Apart from that, the control also aims to overcome the problem of rubbish and flooding which often inundates the central roads of Lhokseumawe City.
This reservoir is located in Gampong Pusong Lama and has become part of the residents' daily lives. Even though it is limited by land and simple infrastructure, this reservoir still provides tranquility and beauty for anyone who visits it
Hopefully this reservoir will continue to be maintained and become a comfortable place for local people and visitors.
