On the second day of the Madrasah Science Competition (KSM) at the Tsanawiyah level under the auspices of the Lhokseumawe City Ministry of Religion Office, which took place from 1 to 3 July 2024, this competition involved students from various madrasas and schools in the area. Here are some important points regarding the event:
Participants and Categories:
There were 21 individual category participants from various madrasas and schools.
Participating madrasas/schools include MTs Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe, MTs Negeri 2 Lhokseumawe, MTs Ulumuddin, MTs Misbahul Ulum, MTs Muhammadiyah, MTs YAPENA Lhokseumawe and several other Madrasas under the auspices of the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Lhokseumawe City
The subjects in the competition include Mathematics, Natural Sciences (IPA), and Historical Sciences
KSM objectives
The Madrasah Science Competition aims to improve the quality of education, especially in the field of science, among madrasah and school students in Lhokseumawe.
Apart from that, it is also hoped that this competition can foster students' interest and talent in the field of science, as well as become a place for healthy friendship and competition between schools and madrasas in the region.
Duration and Place:
This competition was held for three consecutive days at a location determined by the Lhokseumawe City Ministry of Religion Office committee.
With KSM, Tsanawiyah students in Lhokseumawe have the opportunity to develop their academic abilities and prepare themselves to compete at a higher level, both at the provincial, national and international levels. Hopefully this event will continue to be successful and have a positive impact on education in Aceh, especially in Lhokseumawe City.
