Greetings friends of Steemit and WORLD OF XPILAR

No matter how you commemorate Christmas, it's one of the most popular holidays in the world. A day when millions of people catch up with family take time off from work or school and exchange gifts and well wishes.

In Germany Christmas is known as Yule which refers to the winter solstice or the start of winter that is same here in India too. However it is also known as 'Bara Din' longest day as from today the day time starts to increase.

There is place called Krishnanagar one of the oldest place where Hindus were baptized to Christianity. The place is also famous for fiberglass statues and clay model. The statues are exported worldwide. Such statues of jersey cow, collie, Bantam hens, Ducks, Sheep and lambs appeared surrounded by his mother the Virgin Mary his father Joseph along with lord (Jesus) in a church in our neighborhood. They used to paint to make the statues fresh and bright.

Today I also visited the church in the evening like every year. There were all services held in the morning. In the evening most non religious or others came to see the stable and the permanent statue of Mary with Jesus.
