Nostalgic (PowerUp 100%)

Just recently, a person who found out that I like to take pictures gave me a gift. She said: Take, please, these are my Dad's staff. I do not know if they work or not. Probably not, but I can't just throw them away - it's too sad. Maybe they will be useful to you." So now I am the happy owner of two Soviet cameras "Kiev" and "Zorky". I haven't checked them yet, I haven't even bought a film, but I will definitely do it. But that's not what I want to write the post about.

You know, my first camera was also a film (Revue), and I still keep it as a souvenir. And when I was little, my dad had a Zenit E . We went for a walk with him, he showed me how to use this camera, and we took pictures -a lot of pictures, black and white and color. But the most interesting thing began later. We never developed the film ourselves, we were afraid of doing something wrong, but we printed the pictures ourselves. We locked ourselves in a dark bathroom, and for a long time we fiddled there with a photo enlarger, baths with developer and fixator, hung the pictures to dry - like laundry on clotheslines... It was magic!

A few years ago, my father gave both the camera and the photo enlarger to a children's photo club. I found out about it after the fact, and I was very upset. I wish I still had this Zenit E. But now I have "Kiev" and "Zorky", not to mention "Revue". Here they are.
