Happy Monday Lovelies!

I hope everyone had an amazing weekend and is ready for a beautiful new week! Everything was going great this morning until I accidentally published one of my prepped curation posts not only forgetting to add the shared beneficiaries but also on this account instead of the steemitbloggers account... so here I am, writing in order to rectify that, lol - clearly I need another coffee... one second, I will be right back.

There we go - chaos averted... hopefully lol! I hate making stupid mistakes like that, as we all do no doubt... but I often wonder if anyone else gets quite wrapped up in anxiety over things like that as much as I do. Like my morning just went from pretty calm and normal into a flat panic to fix and "undo" what I just did haha! Sadly there is no CtrlZ in life.

But, the reality is... I had intended to sit down and write this morning... just not quite like this. Nonetheless, here we are - pivot. haha!

So, in my haste to fix this little Monday morning oopsie, I just grabbed this photo which I found whilst going through my stuff about a week ago when I was writing another post about landscape art. It is a photo I took about two years ago whilst we were out on a sunset walk down by the lagoon. It was one of those magnificent moments that I just managed to get perfectly. A great photo (in my non photographer noob opinion lol) and I think I might like to draw it... speaking of drawing -

So, I started a new piece of art over the weekend. I have not donw something quite this abstract in a while, but I really had fun with it - you know, the sort of piece that you just get lost in for hours on end... at one point I was not sure if it was going to amount to anything, but I told that inner voice to shut up and just carried on drawing...

Someone on FB asked me the other day how on earth I manage to create such depth in my pieces and I was explaining to them how much I love working with layers and texture. I have probably mentioned this a few times before... but it was one of the things my late mom taught me in her art classes... and whilst many people hate working with a million and one layers... I have always loved it. Anyhoooo... here is the final piece... I will be adding it to my Saatchi Art & Redbubble galleries later today - and will likely mint it as a 1/1 on Objkt.com if that interests anyone around here :)

I also did some sourdough baking this weekend which I have not done in a while. I have been incredibly lazy with that actually lol. Nonetheless... Back into it I guess. Normally I make my sourdough in a loaf shape because it is far more practical in my opinion, but yesterday I decided to make a round loaf for the first time and I was really pleased with how nicely it turned out and with what a good "ear" I got on it.

Anyhooo... I think I have done enough remedy rambling for now, lol - I need to get back to what I actually had on my agenda for the morning! Hope you all have a brilliant day! MWAH! Omgaaawd I just saw that there is a gogga on my coffee mug lol

❤❤❤

Until next time...

Happy Monday to you too :) and thank you... I published that without any context because I was busy fixing a big oopsie, which I have just now edited and added to the post haha... Monday Monday... lol

It am what it be.

Mistakes happen, and we come face to face with our humanity. Our human-ness.

It's what makes people beautiful...

True story :) I just need to convince myself that it is applicable to me too haha!
