Photo N° 1

Today I bring you some photographs edited with Lightroom, to give them a more artistic touch, almost bordering on digital painting.

Photo N° 2

The first thing I did was capture the drops on the elongated leaves of a lily plant. These were almost parallel to the ground and received a good dose of drops from a sudden rain shower in the late afternoon.

Photo N° 3

The original photos, although generally sharp, still failed to highlight the drops. So I decided to play with saturation and light to give them that touch that would take them to another level.

Photo N° 4

I took advantage of the fact that the ground was wet and acquired a dark tone, to highlight the green against that background, with the added bonus that reddish and yellow tones also appeared on the edges of the leaves. And the drops made the white shine, which together gave them depth.

Photo N° 5

As I said at the beginning, I edited the photos with Lightroom, I played with the saturation of the two greens and the lights and shadows, to find contrast in the background.
