Discovering lost photos from iPhone backup on a new phone.

It took me years to accumulate enough crypto to buy a new iPhone. Ted old iPhone 6 was getting old and started to go dark several times per week. I was very afraid of luring all my photos and information. So, I decided to buy a new mobile; but it had to be the cheapest one on sale. The staff recommended iPhone 12 which had lots more memory and I could pay in installments. That’s a good deal to me.

The kind staff taught me and helped me backup the old mobile onto cloud and to download the data onto the new mobile. The process took a long find and I accepted the fact that lots of my old photos would be lost forever as I never bought extra cloud memory.

So, it came as a surprise to me that I saw several old photos which I lost three or four years ago on my new mobile! Even photos of my cats when they were just small kittens came back to me.

These were photos taken at a cultural museum in a shopping mall years ago. The owner of this private collection of statues were a learned Singaporean man who was a a very religious or spiritual person. He had a cultural exhibition on the third floor of the mall for four years. Then, the economy wasn’t so good, he couldn’t afford the high rents! He had to move all his collection of statues to a new location.

Sadly, I never found out about the new location of his private museum. I would have liked to visit his new establishment and pay my respect to some old antique statues with very strong vibes again.
