Happy Caturday: my friend’s cats visited my house.

A few years ago, before the scamdemics and lockdown, my friend and his three cats came to visit my garden. The idea was to let his cats had a chance to play around my garden. My friends had to keep his cats inside his house all the time. His next door neighbours weren’t very fond of cats.

One day he let his cats playing outside his house around his front yard. Then one cat went over the wall and climbed into next house’s backyard. He heard his neighbour shouting at his young cat and chased his cat outside the house.

My friend had to rescue his cat before it went running to the main road. That was quite shocking for him and his cat as he always treated his cats with gentleness and living. So, I suggested that he could bring his cats to have a day out in my garden. They could play, run and explore the big garden.

I was very pleased to see his lovely young cats. The mother cat was a stray cat that arrived at his house one day and decided to stay with my friend. She had four kittens that grew up into very handsome young cats. But they were so timid and shy as they were kept inside the house all the time. They had no exposure to strangers and other people.

They were quite surprised by lots of space and they couldn’t decide what to do. They gingerly walked around slowly while my friend had them on a leach. He was afraid they might be frightened by stranger and run away.

He was too overprotective towards his cats. They didn’t have the time to get used to the new garden. He decided to bring them home after twenty minutes. So, these cats had no chance to climb trees or chasing each other around the garden. But they looked a bit stressed out. My friend told me that these cats went sleep for several hours after the trip. They were emotionally exhausted by the new and strange experience! They were very lovely cats so I wished they had stayed a bit longer.
