Last October I had the chance to travel to Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park, British Columbia. This is a 1,300 square kilometre park on the western side of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Yoho is directly attached to Banff, Kootenay and Jasper National Parks, together making up the Canadian Rocky Mountains World Heritage site.
The two canoeists in the photo below are returning to the rental dock after an adventure in this vast wilderness of mountains, rivers and waterfalls.

This is my entry for the World of XPILAR - LANDSCAPE/SEASCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #081 by @axeman and @xpilar
Above: this is the rental office and dock for the canoes.
This building is part of a lodge at Emerald Lake which includes an elegant dining room. Cell phone reception and wifi are available only at one building in the lodge. You come to a place like this to disconnect from the electronic world and reconnect with nature.
Fantastic photography, really love your landscape images :)
