Where is love? Asked the girl, holding a glass bulb in her hand. It replied, speaking through silence. I am waiting for my traveler to take me. To gain meaning, rather than be a voiceless word stuck in space. The girl replied, Why are you so lonely? Don’t you have a heart of your own to keep warm? Wherever you have someone to share your sorrow and happiness with, that is where you belong, love answered. I am just a word, taken for its meaning and thrown back into the ocean. Discarded because of the disappointment caused by your unconscious human mistakes. I am waiting for my traveler, love continued, so I do not become just a part of forgotten mythology. I fear disappearing because you, humans, believe I am merely something sitting at a crossroads, mocking your failed relationships. I wait for my companion, the one who will take me and turn me into their great creation. Every day, I live with the hope that there are still people who know my true meaning and place in their lives.

The girl replied, If you hold such deep meaning and are at the beginning of everything in this world, why do you live in constant fear of disappearing? When you are the world itself? That would be like land without water or a human without a soul. Love answered, I live in a constant cycle of unpredictable turns- ones that destroy me, yet life always follows, bringing me back to existence. I am tired of waiting for things to happen, of existing only through the suffering I cause. My other side, called pain, is within me too. And it cannot stop as long as I am still alive, love said. Beautiful yet unjust is your fate, the girl replied, but embrace your great purpose. Believe in it, as I believe in you. Your brave heart can save even the most unfortunate wanderer.
