Per Day Shopping Cost of My Family

Hi friends, how are you all. In this post I giving average expenditure of my family.

I am from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. We live in joint family. In my family we have 5 adult persons along with Three kids so my expenditure is always high as compared to short families.

Daily after weak up and before go to bed we brush our teeth, for this we use Colgate pate. Always we buy big size, generally I buy 150g of paste, it cost around Rs 150,It give 20 days for my hole family.

Then after all of us take coffees, biscuit, for kids they drink boost only. For this we always buy 500 grams for sunrise coffee powder and 500 grams of boost. Both cost upto around Rs 600.00. Coffee powder give only 15 days, because we drink morning and evening, some times between break fast and lunch too. So I expire very fast. Boost give 20 days only, because three kids need marking, evening, and night before bed too.

For this daily we buy 3 liters of milk it cost around Rs 180. 00 per day.

Coming to our food, we daily take break fast, lunch, dinner and snacks. All are food lovers so we spend huge money for this. We eat rice a lot, wheat little low.

We are vegitarian so dpend huge miney for buying ,fruits and vegetables a lot.nearly we spend Rs 150.00 per day.

For rice we but 25 kgs for 18 days it cost around Rs1400. 00,along with buy another rice for Idli, Dosa batter preparing,for this we buy rice around 10 kgs at 360.00 it give up to one to Two months. Because we use this rice very low. For twice a week we prepare Idli batter on using 2 kg of rice, it give up to 45-50 days for 10 kgs of Idli rice.

Along with rice we buy Too Dal, Chenna Dal, MoongDal Dal, and remaining all dals every month. So we spend huge cost for toor Dal and Chenna, urand Dal. Because for preparing any dish we use this Dal. For this we spend nearly Rs 1000.00 per month. Average per day we spend Rs 110.00 per day.

Another important one is Oil. In my family all are food lovers, so always need to prepare snacks, deep fried food items, so we use nearly 5 liters per month it cost around Rs 550.00 per day we invest nearly Rs 60.00 for oil only.

For God worship we spend money on buying Flowers, Deepam oil, Kapooram, match box and Agarbathi. For all those we spend nearly Rs 50.00 per day.

Now coming to other expenditure Soaps, detergent bars, detergent powder, Shampoo, kid soaps, kid shampoos, toilet cleaning powder all those we spend nearly Rs 200.00 per day, per month nearly Rs 6000.00 per month alone. Some times it increases due school uniforms, festivals and function attending.

For bath soap we use Hamam, My sore Sandle, for detergent soap we use Surfexcel and Surfexcel powder, shampoo we use clink plus and panteen, for cleaning we use Wim bar, for toilet cleaning we use Tied and Domix.For each use we use unique brand in my home.

For kids we use Himalaya products only. For hair oil we use parachute and Aswiny hair oil.

For this we spend Rs 200.00 per month.

Coming to cloths we buy when we need only, don't spend huge amount in it every month. Over all pet month we spend Rs 2000.00 per month on cloths.

Coming power bill, we pay very high because we get bill every two months, around Rs 4000.00 we pay per month.

Coming to Gas we need to pay nearly Rs 800.00 per month.

Coming medical costs in my family we have two regular patients one is me, another one is my mother in law. My mother in law is BP patient need medicine every day. Coming to me I am diabetes patient so must I took my medicines every day. For this we spend nearly Rs 200.00 per day for both medicines.

For kids some times they get cough and could, fear for we need to spend more.

Coming to water, we but daily 25 liter drinking water at cost of Rs 30.00,
We have corporation water tax and property for every six months for this we pay nearly Rs 3000.00 every six month.

These are average expenditure, they after we have school fee for three kids every year we need additional Rs 3lac, besides this their books, uniforms, shoes, we need to spend Rs 20000.00 every year.

This is our planning and well known expense, unless planing other expense also we have. We buy snacks for kids from out side, functions, special day parties. All are additional expenses for me.

Another expenditure is mobile bills, DTH bills. For DTH we spending Rs 800.00 every month. For mobile bills of hole family we spending nearly Rs 1500.00 per month lol. Very huge money for me, but now online classes also started so need mobile data so we must spending that's much. We don't have any other alternative, only use mobile data for online working, kid classes too.

For handling all those I need at least Rs 20000.00 per month. It around 1250 steem I need every month. Very hard earnings for me.

By God grace we have own house, so no worries on rent payments. Then after we get some additional income from my land. Around Rs 6000.00 we get every month. It equal to 380 steem. We get from rent of our house in village.

We have own shop in vegetable market per day we get around Rs 2000.00 as a profit it nearly equal to 125 steem. So per month nearly we get 1.8 lac earnings from my shop so handling all becomes little bit easy for me.

My days going good, but when Corona enter to my country last three months I don't have any earnings because my all shops are closed now. Now handling this expenditure getting huge struggles. Other wise I don't have any problems, but now for handling is very hard due to no earnings for last three months.

So now I again focus in Steemit platform, I hope I earn little bit amount for my needs hear. And also trying to increase my skills and searching for other online earning ways too.

Due to pandemic we also decreasing our expenditure, so spend money on emergency needs only, not buying until necessary things. Now my kids also cooperate with us.

Still now going good, hope soon this pandemic get ended, again get my golden days back.
