As promised in a conversation, here I am sharing some unpublished so far pictures of the Northern Lights, Aurora Borealis.
At that time of the day we were slowly driving on a gravel road in Western Iceland and suddenly, to our surprise, we saw the Lights.
There was no time to select any foreground, there was nothing interesting around or by the road.
So we just brough out the tripods, set the cameras and started to capture the Lights.
It was just after the sunset so I had to tune the camera a lot and change its settings on the go.
I really enjoyed that present of Mother Nature...

I want to tell you that when there are northern lights, nobody is looking at your foreground, I'm sure. 🤭Your precision and perfectionism shows in your photos, but... how many people in the world are actually photographically literate when they swoon over distorted horizons and out-of-focus roses.
Anyway, great photos as always and the emotion is felt in them too, especially by people like me who don't live that far north and this phenomenon is not everyday (even this year too).

Thanks so much but trust me, with a good foreground it is turning from a common astro-photo to a masterpiece :)))
The emotion while taking them was really strong. Powerful!

I am speechless. You did a remarkable job even if it was on the go - perfect and precise like soulsdetour said.
I don't know how you or anyone feels when they witness it in real. I'm in awe just by looking at the pictures.

Oh, I was speechless too :) It wasn't the first time I see it but still, it took my words away...
Later that night we put on our warmest clothes and went out for the real chase of Aurora. I will share few more down the road ;)
It feels like God puts their hands on my shoulders. I feel so small and still, my heart feels full of love. Compared to the size of the Universe, we are small, so small. Tiny and somehow blessed at the same time :)
My words are not enough to describe it!
Thank you :)
