I admit this boardwalk didn't bring me much satisfaction.

Well, I would expect from the richest Bulgarian city on Black Sea to take better care of all facilities on its longest boardwalk.
Apart from the central part of the beach and few new and fancy bars and restaurants, the rest just had the feeling I am back to the 80-ies of the previous century.
Yup, that would also be the previous millennium too.
As a visitor to the city, the first thing I always love to do is go for a promenade by the sea.
The only change that always happens is the increased prices, LOL. Not always related to increased quality of the services offered.
This place is beautiful and could become a true paradise if people care more, as you will see from my photos...

Its a lovely looking place... and yes, a promenade walk is always lovely. It seems often times places like this do seem to get somewhat neglected... or perhaps it is that they just get overlooked in terms of upgrades. Its pretty much the same here, but regardless, it still makes way for a good stroll.

Yes, the view towards the sea are magnificent.
It is however, a bit sad to see these places neglected, as obviously they don't bring any profit to the country...

Neglect is never nice to see, no. People are all about profits these days, so I suppose the neglect and the lack of money go hand in hand.... if there is nothing of financial gain to really offer then that decline is pretty imminent.

It is just that the contrast is huge. Fancy shining new restaurants and bars and then the rest feels like a demolition site, almost all in ruins. I hope one day it all looks more balanced but I know we are still far away from this...
