I heard from my friends that it was snowing in Wudang Mountain and the scenery was picturesque, so I couldn’t wait to take my parents and little nephew to Wudang Mountain.
Wudang Mountain is located in Shiyan City, Hubei Province, only a few hundred kilometers away from my hometown. It only takes a few hours to reach it at first. It is known as the Taoist Holy Land in China and has always been full of mythology. According to legend, many gods live in seclusion here.
That afternoon we drove to the foot of Wudang Mountain and rested in a B&B. As the Chinese New Year is approaching, there are still a lot of tourists here, and the prices of nearby accommodation and restaurants have also increased a lot compared to usual times.
Early the next morning, we took the cable straight to the foot of the Golden Summit of Wudang Mountain, where we started climbing. After about an hour and a half, we climbed to the top of the mountain. Wudang Mountain, which has snowed, is covered with snow, and everything is still, as if recording some ancient legends. When Wudang Mountain is covered with a layer of white, it looks like a fairyland and is extra beautiful. Just take a random photo and it will create a beautiful picture.
Since Wudang Mountain is a Taoist holy land, the most important purpose of our visit here is to pray for blessings. We came to the top of Wudang Mountain, the Golden Summit. I burned incense and made wishes here, and drew lots. I had good luck and got a lucky draw.
After praying, we chose to walk down the mountain in order to better appreciate the beautiful scenery here.

It is so good to have you and @pinkcastle on Steemit, with your presence we can discover a lot of China. Majority what I know about your country was of course, from movies, about Shaolin Temple and their Kung Fu, by the way it is not far from Henan, have you been there too?
The images in snow look like in fairy tale, especially the mountains and such old traditional roofs and mist.
I can imagine that the place is well visited by tourist, especially the time before Chinese New Year.
