Do you have any good suggestions about the user experience of steemit?

Hello everyone, I am @liusir. In the blink of an eye, I have been coming to steemit for ten days. During these ten days, I have slowly understood and learned to use some basic functions of steemit. Of course, I want to thank @stef1 and @ pinkcastle. The two of them were very friendly and explained a lot of basic knowledge about steemit to me, so that I could quickly learn and use it.

During the period of using steemit, I found that this is a very meaningful platform. It contains users from all over the world. On it, you can see the customs and customs of different countries, communicate with users from different countries, and Various exciting competitions, while everyone gets benefits, they can also learn more meaningful knowledge.

steemit is an excellent platform. It has been running for many years, but at the same time some of its interactions are still relatively backward. As a user who has only used it for ten days, I have summarized a few suggestions (just my personal suggestions, I hope Don’t mind it, everyone).

First: As a global blockchain platform, it includes different countries around the world, and each country has a different language. This is difficult for many users to read. If a language can be added to the interface I think the selection function will be more user-friendly. Users who have just entered can choose a language they are familiar with on the homepage, and then the platform can automatically translate these interfaces in real time, which will be more convenient for everyone's learning and communication.

Second: Add a private message function. Currently, the platform can carry out following, forwarding and other functions. If a private message function can be added on top of these, I think it will be better for user communication, so that users can achieve real-time synchronous communication.

Third: Add a recommendation function. The content of the current platform is distributed according to different communities, but each community has many posts of different categories. In this way, users will feel bored when using it because they will read There is a lot of content that you are not interested in. If the platform can add a feature to automatically recommend some articles in the same categories as the user's interests or frequent reading habits, this way the user will stay on the platform longer.

Fourth: User interface optimization. The current user interface is relatively backward and is no longer in line with the public’s operating habits. If the interface can be optimized to make it more concise and convenient, it can better improve the user experience, so that users will stay longer. Time will also be extended.

Steemit is a great platform. I hope it can go further in the future. If you have any good suggestions or comments about this, you can leave a message below. Let us work together to make more users join it and let the platform More meaningful content can be added.

These are some very useful suggestions.

However, I would say I really like its current interface, of course, with some minor adjustments like @moecki "bookmark add" suggestion and maybe some others as suggested, but I like the overall layout of this interface.

When I first came to Steemit, I looked for that "private msg" function and happily didn't find any. I think this is what makes Steemit exclusive and exciting at the same time. There should not be anything private on it. This is what makes it more interactive. This is my opinion — of course and everyone has their own :)

I have used another interface based on steemit, but in my opinion nothing exceeds the "official version" of the steemit site itself. It's neat & clean and not over cluttered. I really love the layout.

I just want it to be bug-free, or whatever code errors that have been happening recently to be addressed

What you said is correct. Recently, I also found that there is a problem that the comments are not displayed after being successfully used. This problem affecting user experience is the first priority to solve.

As far as point 4 is concerned, I'd be interested in your feedback on the below post:
