OBLIQUE RAIN
Intersectionist Poems
III
The Great Sphinx of Egypt dreams through this paper within...
I write — and she appears to me through my transparent hand, And in the corner of the paper, the pyramids rise...
I write — I am disturbed to see the tip of my pen Becoming the profile of King Quéops...
Suddenly, I stop... Everything darkens... I fall through an abyss made of time...
I am buried beneath the pyramids, writing verses by the clear light of this lamp, And all of Egypt crushes me from above through the strokes I make with the pen...
I hear the Sphinx laughing from within,
The sound of my pen running across the paper...
It crosses over my inability to see her, a huge hand,
Sweeping everything to the corner of the ceiling behind me,
And on the paper where I write, between it and the pen that writes
Lies the corpse of King Quéops, looking at me with wide-open eyes,
And between our gazes that intersect flows the Nile,
And a joy of flag-adorned boats wanders
In a diffuse diagonal
Between me and what I think...
Funerals of King Quéops in old gold and Me!...
"Fernando Pessoa"
I am sharing photos of landscapes, moments and experiences. Nature and sea are the most visited themes in my photo collection, but any attention-grabbing aspect can be photographed. Hope you enjoy it...
