THREE BEAUTIFUL WILD MUSHROOMS IN ACEH'S EXOTIC FOREST
meet me again @master-dhian, in today's post I'm back at the contest held by @sultan-aceh, the MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST IN #STEEM #STEEMIT #TRON #WOXTOKEN | WEEK 24 | WITH WOX COMMUNITY, and this contest is supported directly by @xpilar who acts as Leader, and also admin from the XPILAR DUNIA community.
On this occasion tonight I would like to share again a macrographic image that I took in the Aceh forest with an object, namely a unique mushroom, this fungus we find in bushes that have rotten wood stems due to humid conditions.
Mushrooms have the following characteristics:
- Does not have chlorophyll
- Cannot make their own food (Heterotrophs)
- Most live as Parasites
- The body is formed in the form of fine threads called hyphae.
- Every part of the body cannot be distinguished between Stems, Roots, and Leaves
- Stores food in the form of glycogen.
- Has a cell wall composed of chitin.
- Reproduce by forming Spores, Splitting and Fragmentation.
Mushrooms are fruiting bodies that appear on the surface of the growing medium from a group of fungi (Basidiomycota) that are shaped like an umbrella. Mushrooms are familiar to us in everyday life, although not as good as other plants. This is because mushrooms only grow at certain times, under certain favorable conditions, and have a limited lifespan.
All types of fungi are heterotrophs. However, unlike other organisms, fungi do not eat and digest food.
