Polyporus Melanopus

Hi all

come back with me @master-macro as usual I do my daily activities I enter the aceh forest to see the unique types of mushrooms or plants in the forest, while accompanying my father, on this occasion I will display the Polyporus Melanopus mushroom, which is a fungus that have colors like in the picture, this is what I can take photos, while learning to take photos with my father

This fungus that I found was on a rotten and weathered tree branch, standing upright, very unique if we look at it, even at the bottom the pores of the mushroom body are clearly visible.

when I saw this mushroom from a distance when I was walking in the forest, at the same time my father saw it, to see something we could take a photo of and have something unique, so that I can show you all, this mushroom also often lives in the tropics.

Fungi also grow in moist places such as in places where there is water, such as the trunk of this small tree or twigs. This fungus is a parasite because mushrooms contain toxic substances so that mushrooms cannot be consumed.

These mushrooms you see, over time, will die and wither on their own, when exposed to direct sunlight or slowed down by sunlight, which is blocked by tiny leaves surrounding the ground.
