I about 2 hours ago exchanged 2 sbd for 31 steem and it worked, but 31 steem has not appeared in my wallet. I wonder why...??

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    Some orders take time to execute, I think many don't want to get rid of SBDs. You can close and open the wallet and you can see the SBDs in brackets.
