Today,I'm back to dancing pencil draws on HVS paper with the aim of making an image of a tree. My tree of choice today is a coconut tree. I was inspired by a picture of a coconut tree on pixabay.com. Then, I tried to make it.
Here are the steps I took to produce an image of a coconut tree.
Tools and Materials
- Pencil 2b
- Eraser
- HVS paper
- Ballpoint pen
How to draw
1. The first, I sketched a coconut tree and its leaves. At this stage, I use a pencil for shading.
2. Then, I emphasized the leaves, coconut, and coconut trees. I used a 2b pencil and emphasized the schematic.
3. It is towards the final stage, I take the pen and shade again with the pen.
4. It is the completion stage. I looked at the whole image and reshaded anywhere that didn't feel quite right or pretty. And here are the results.
