Today I will share a beautiful painting of Independence Day
Although I don't have such an idea about painting, this is just a small attempt to share something about freedom today. In 1971, in exchange for the blood of thousands of people, we have the opportunity to live in an independent country today.
December 16th. Great Victory Day. This day is an absolute glory for the nation. On this day in 1971, after nine months of liberation war, the Pak aggressors surrendered at the racecourse ground of Dhaka. The bloody war of liberation lasted for nine months. Through the final victory, Bangladesh emerged as the independent state of Bengalis.
But at the same time the day is also painful. The harvest of the sacrifices of countless people is our freedom. We remember the martyrs of the liberation war with deep respect. On this day, we will remember those who have sacrificed at different stages of the freedom movement, starting from the language movement. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman successfully led the struggle for the socio-economic and political rights of the people of this country as well as for the establishment of an independent state. He inspired millions of people with the mantra of freedom.
In a circular issued on 22 January 1972, this day was celebrated as National Day in Bangladesh and it was officially declared a holiday.
After 9 months of fighting, on 16 December 1971, at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka, about 91,634 members of the Pakistani army formally surrendered to the joint forces of Bangladesh and India.
On this occasion, every year in Bangladesh, the day is celebrated with due solemnity and great enthusiasm. On the morning of 16 December, the day began with 31 rounds of artillery fire. Members of the Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Air Force joined the joint military parade held at the National Parade Square. As part of the parade, the country's president or prime minister saluted. Lots of people gathered to watch this parade.
The 9-month war of independence came to an end with the surrender of the Pakistan army and the creation of an independent state called Bangladesh (later used as a term). Almost all the countries including the United Nations recognize Bangladesh in the month of independence.
NOTE:I did the first painting myself, the rest of the pictures are collected.
