The police needed more evidence to confirm it.

The police removed Ally's body and suspicious items from this place. The phone at home was lying near Ally, which confirmed that she had last spoken to anyone before going to the party. To confirm this, the police checked her phone records. There, she had last made a phone call to a man named Karthik. Who is this Karthik? That was the next question that arose. Ally's aunt had said that Karthik was Ally's boyfriend. Later, the police went to Karthik's house based on the aunt's information.

So the police came to Karthik's house and took Karthik to the police station for questioning. There, he said that he was going to a birthday party with Ally that night and that a conversation between the two escalated and a fight broke out over the phone with Ally. He also learned that Ally was dead only after the police arrived at the house. He was also very saddened to hear about Ally's death.

After days of investigation, based on Allie's fingerprints found on the gun and other evidence, police confirmed that she had committed suicide.
