A beautiful evening spent on the beach

As per my request, my mother agreed to take me, Kavya and Kasun to play at the beach in the evening. But that agreement was subject to a few conditions. She is always like that, even if she agrees to anything, she puts conditions on everything. That is because of her boundless love for us. So I happily agreed to her conditions and decide to go on the trip.

Kavya and Kasun are my two best friends since childhood. We are always together. The three of us spend time together in school and outside. So even if it is a trip, the three of us go together. For the trip that evening, we prepared some snacks, an extra dress and the things we need to play. So, as she promised, my mother took the three of us to the beach at around 5 pm that day. "It is okay to play, don't go into the sea like that", this is my mother's only advice. So we heeded her advice and went to play on the beach.

My mother sat on the shore, smiling happily as we played. We also had fun playing from a vantage point overlooking the waves. We walked here and there on the beach, illuminated by the golden setting sun, enjoying each other's company. And we watched the waves come and go, kiss the shore and return. How pleasant it is to walk on the beach on an evening like this..? As I saw the sea and the sky merge on the horizon, it occurred to me that it would be a great idea to paint a picture. Because the art teacher had already asked we to draw a picture of the beach.

Kavya took several pictures of the setting sun and the beach with the intention of sharing them on social media. Her habit is to take pictures of everything wherever she goes and share them on social media. While the kavya was taking pictures, Kasun and I enjoyed the snacks we had brought and talked to my mother. Since it was a holiday, many people had come to the beach to play water sports. We also loved playing such water sports, but our mother did not allow us to do so, so we could not do them.

As our time passed happily and peacefully, the setting sun was ready to cover the city with darkness. "Now it's time for us to go," said the mother, looking at the setting sun, asking her to put the luggage we had brought in the vehicle. "This journey is not a sea voyage, but a journey that brought back memories of our friendship," I told Kasun, telling Kavya, who was taking pictures, to come back.

At the last moment, we all looked at the surroundings for a moment and went to the vehicle with our luggage. Somehow, I recorded the views I saw today in my mind to add them to the painting of the beach that I hope to draw at school tomorrow.

This journey will be added to our memory book as a beautiful memory of our friendship, family love, and our life. We left there and returned home with the intention of having such a beautiful experience again one day.
