This is a Watercolor painting I did from Lake Rosseau in the Muskokas, Ontario Canada
We spent the day snowshoeing around the lake and I took a few photos to make the painting.

Here are the steps in my Process:
Step 1: Start with a rough pencil sketch
Step 2: Paint a wash for the sky and light on the snow
Step 3: paint the trees and shadows
Step 4: Add the spruce and pine tree branches
It's like spring :)
