Yes today 9th of January makes it exactly four years that I joined the writing league, I joined the website that doesn't look too beautiful but pays it's users, the website that is designed practically black and white but pays it's users, the blockchain website that makes it easy the writers out there to come and show their talents, what they've got and get paid for it instead of struggling out there to make it.
Only on this website what is impossible becomes possible. Imagine you just write down what's on your mind and get paid for it without working under someone or a writing company. So once you are a steemian, you are entitled to live a free life. It doesn't require anything than just to write, and make a good or reasonable comment under a quality post and you can get paid with upvotes or tips.
This is all possible because of some people and that's the maker and developers of this website; Ned Scot and Dan Larima, even if Dan has stepped down as the chief technology officer, the legacy he left still exist. Steemit faced tough time, difficulties but steemit is back to its feet, it's just that there are some changes of which is expected to happen because change is constant.
It's my four years on the Blockchain website, four years of writing, four years of meeting people, four years of knowing the world, four years of knowing what's going on where I've never been to because the website's peak reach everywhere in the world, both Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, North American, Oceania, and Antartica.
It's a free website, you may not need a guide than the white paper but without @olawalium, I might not know steemit, even now, because I wasn't a writer before I become steemian. Steemit bring out the hidden talent in. I am able to meet wonderful people on this wonderful Blockchain, if these people aren't there to help, I would have just give up because I may not continue writing without upvote.
When I wanted to give up, @surpassinggoogle encouraged me with his huge upvote, his 1% upvote worth 1 dollar upvote which is able to move reputation 25 to 30 or more. @stach, a group by @ejemai just to help each other was there too and @mammasitta, the most kind woman I ever known was there too and she never give up. @kpine, @sirknight the founder of #heartchurch community, @darlenys01 the director of #heartchurch community. I've been able to received love from so many steemians that I can't mention.
Steemit is amazing, maybe that's why it's has amazing steemians as users.
