The day has finally come!
Love, Like His is a book project that I first began working on back in 2013 or 2014. Slowly, I began to punch out a few chapters here or there on the keyboard. Then, when I came online to crypto-blog in this fantastic community, I decided to start releasing the chapters that I had already written. The goal was to use that to refresh my memory on the story and plotline as each chapter was released, to hopefully gain a following for the book at that time, and then use the momentum and interest as a driving force to push me to write the remaining chapters. That worked incredibly.
As I released the chapters, some people got interested. @gregory-f sticks out as one in particular that was an encouraging reader who helped me press on. Then, some others began translating the chapter into other languages like German by @detlev, Spanish by @soymanu, and Portuguese by @andyluy. Next, the incredible and unexpected happened. @verbal-d reached out and pitched me an idea about releasing an audio version. Soon, he was recording each chapter in an audio format, and this was crazy. I was literally able to listen to the book that I was writing, as I was preparing to write each new chapter. This must have been a rare experience for an author indeed.
Finally, the book was finished, at least the writing portion of it. Now editing and releasing was another issue, but at least it was written. With the help of @freedomtowrite a very painful and discouraging editing process began. This slowed things down, but eventually I pressed on and made it through, to the point that I am now happy to offer up a physical, paperback version of Love, Like His.
