😂 Oh, do they? Not in my circles. It definitely is preferred in other countries in Europe, definitely Slovenia, based on my own experience.
My English family and I got a massive fancy Italian hamper last Christmas which had the panettone included. No one wanted it so I took it as the most adventurous and having lived where not 🌎 But yeah, each to their own 😃
