#club5050 How I will Succeed!

Thank you ever so much my friend @datych I bet you are busy but hopefully not too busy researching 👨🏻‍💻 I noticed that barely anybody shares videos here so I thought why don't I start posting such more often and find out how well they are received. To me this is also a nice change or an add-on to a standard post of mine which involves photos and text. I decided to add motivating captions on most of the photos featured here and rely on the impact which a more interactive post might achieve. Dlike looks like an interesting option which I haven’t heard of so far to be honest. So again, thanks for sharing. What a relief that selfies are not allowed. Dlike seems a great choice for somebody who enjoys reading trendy headlines online and sharing links with few hashtags there. I am not sure how popular Dlike currently is to be honest. I looked at an active user there @merima who posted few links today of random newsworthy content and got an average of 15 likes worth about 1 Dlike each. I have seen some of your awesome short videos both lifestyle and wildlife and I would love to see more. You can maybe play being a journalist around Saint Petersburg and shoot more videos. Just a thought.

Once, I had a reward for a video in a photo contest in WoX :)

This one:

(3 videos on the "channel" but I have 3 acc on Youtube).

Dlike -- not sure if it is popular and not sure how much DLIKE costs...

I am thinking of posting videos within regular travel stories (as I did on my Russian blog) but, instead of uploading them onto (into, in?) Youtube, I will upload to 3speak.

Youtube has strict requirements about earning money with your videos, you must have many views to get an access to the ad program. + you should follow copyright laws... At the same time, recently I have noticed Youtube has started showing ads on my videos :D It means I can't earn money with my videos but Youtube can - and it doesn't matter if I am a great videographer or if I follow the law - they don't care when this is about their money :)

These are certainly very energetic and authentic dances, costumes and music! What was the WOX contest about? Nobody so far replied to me with a video. So this is a first. I got some photos illustrating comments though. I guessed by the banner that you must have filmed it in Turkey. Then I saw the title you had on this YouTube channel of yours and I figured out that I was totally right. Dlike is $0.00223 at the moment, so not a lot at all.

YouTube starts paying once you reach 1,000 views. Too many people are quite big there already, so it is kind of late to get noticed to be honest. Joe Wicks killed it on YouTube last year here during lockdown. His channel The Body Coach currently has 2.78m subscribers. Even I was doing my PE with him on the big screen. Bless him, he donated lots of the money earned to the NHS.

P.S. I always enjoy your travel stories.

1000 views - if only they changed the rules recently.

Follow all the YouTube monetization policies.
Live in an eligible country or region.
Have more than 4,000 valid public watch hours in the last 12 months.
Have more than 1,000 subscribers - https://www.learnworlds.com/how-to-make-money-on-youtube/

I have some short videos with thousands views but not during the last year but overall. So youtube earns money instead of me.

4000 hours is not so much if you have many interesting videos or several big ones. But it also means you must be a person who seriously works for their youtube channel while earnings on youtube is generally low until you are a big fish. So most people invest tons of time and get low earnings.

So there are better opportunities. Like microstocks for some videos. Or probably 3speak.

The contest was about dances.

Oh Dear..Of course YouTube changed the rules! Why wouldn’t they 🙈 There are so many big fishes on YouTube already who started years ago. I totally agree with you my friend @datych that it might be a bit too late for a newbie to expect to be earning lots there with non-professional video content unless one is really doing something out of the ordinary and is already a bit famous. I even actually remember seeing a dance contest in WOX earlier this year. I didn’t enter. Then I regretted actually as I took fantastic photos of couples dancing in Cuba. Quite a clever move on your end to enter with a video 👏

Upload them to -- I will try to remember. Thank you!

You are always welcome @datych I say it and I mean it. Not like at work when I am just being polite and I write in an email “Please do not hesitate to contact me..” and I really wish not hear back at all 😂
