Are you lucky enough to have unlimited free access to a swimming pool in your area? Well, some of us, here in England are! Weather permitting of course.
It is not the all inclusive resort type of swimming pool you might be used to and it also depends on the tide. But it certainly is popular with tourists and locals especially in summer and easily makes a fun day out for people of all ages. It is a great place to collect sea treasures like pebbles and shells or even go crabbing.
The below is a photo I took of Viking Bay's seawater swimming pool in Broadstairs, England in July. The resort is easily accessible from London St Pancras or Victoria train stations on one of many high speed South Eastern trains.

The seaside is totally the right place to try fresh seafood, so go for the catch of the day at the local pub or fish and chips shop or even a whole platter at your chosen high-end restaurant.
Sea bream. It is sought for its mild white meat which provides good size fillets that can be grilled, baked, steamed, poached or pan fried.
