From time to time, I've often wondered what my life would have been like if I would have gone further into wildlife conservation. While I don't think I would have ended up being anything like Kevin Richardson, aka the Lion Whisperer, I do believe I could have added to the movement.
Richardson is the same age as I am and has been raising/taking care of wild Lions in South Africa for the last two decades. I'm always amazed at how he interacts with these beasts that would rip our flesh off if given half a chance. The Lions view him as one of their own. He doesn't stop there though as he also interacts with Hyena's and Black Leopards as seen in the video below).
While I'm fascinated by the lifestyle of Kevin Richardson, I also respect the fact that he's in that position because he was there with those animals from the time they were small.
