Hello Everyone, how are you today?

Aceh is a country that is rich in natural products, one of which is the marine sector. Around one hundred thousand tons of fish have spread to various areas in Sumatra and in the archipelago every year.

The majority of fish that are often produced are tuna, anchovies, selayang and so on.

Today I want to try to share some unique pictures about making Aceh fishing boats from the ground up. Starting from the initial construction build.

Generally, Aceh fishing boats are made of quality wood such as deer antler trees, mane trees, sea resin trees and also stone meranti trees. This type of wood has become rare now, and the price is very expensive.

This fishing boat is 6.5 meters wide, 23 meters long and 2.5 meters deep. This ship measures 60 GT.

The construction of this ship cost approximately 3 billion Indonesian rupiah.

Here is a picture of a worker drilling a 10x10 block of wood to insert bolts.

This wooden beam that stands upright is called SAF, which is to function as a foundation pole that is hooked or bolted with LUNAH. The wood used is a very hard and high quality mane tree. It can withstand seawater for decades.

The following is the appearance of ulee susop images, namely wood that stands upright with the fullness of the 30 degrees that will be folded as the foundation pole on the front of the ship. He is in good form so that the ship looks good later. Wood used is a type of wooden wood which is very hard and highly high. Can be sea waterproof up to tens of years.

Looks like wood shaped like our shoes named the shoe tread, which is functioning as a hook for the foundation of the deoan section that I explained. Here on the bolt with a white iron bolt so that it will be not easily rusty.

Here is the appearance of the wood measuring 10x10 by 20 meters which we call LUNAH. They use a type of wood Deer antlers are very hard and heavy like iron. This wood can withstand seawater for decades.

Lunah serves as the basic foundation of the ship that ties all shipbuilding constructions together.
