I don’t know what the multi-functional cooker you are talking about is like. A rice cooker can steam food and stew soup.

As I understand it, externally, these devices are very similar. I bought a Moulinex with a volume of 6 liters and can cook, fry and a bunch of other capabilities that I don’t use. Most often I cook liver pate in it; it is very convenient to do this in a slow cooker. An indispensable thing during vacation, when I want to cook something myself, but there is no such opportunity at the tourist base.
